New Year, New Customers
New customer acquisition has always been a tough nut to crack, so leave it to Google to fine-tune their proverbial nutcrackers. Google Display is rolling out three features geared at reaching new customers, according to Marketing Land. This includes product feeds, custom intent audiences, and enhancements to audience expansion features.
Google Gets Better at Getting to the Point
We’ve all been there…you enter a query in Google, the answer pops up at the top of the search feed, but then when you click through, it’s a lot of scrolling through yadda yadda yadda to find the answer to the question. Now Google can link to a page that’s anchored to the content most relevant to your search term via the use of “snippets.” This is a win for Googlers, of course, but it changes things drastically for content managers and webmasters.
