Google no longer uses authorship and they have fully committed to this statement since it was officially killed off almost two years ago. Panda, Google’s content quality algorithm, is continuously slowly rolling out and is not a real-time algorithm yet. Google is working on a Penguin update, but will not give any specifics as to the specific release date.
