Cheribundi is a functional beverage  known to help aid sleeplessness, muscle recovery, arthritis and gout.

Situation

Cheribundi is a new functional drink lacking strong category and brand recognition. The challenge is to increase awareness and increase email acquisition through a social media sweepstakes.

Solution

STEP 1
Brainstorm on a sweepstakes idea that was easy enough for a user to want to enter, and that would acquire emails. Emails would allow us to continue a dialog with prospective customers.

STEP 2
Configure campaigns to reach a larger audience with specific targeting and minimal budget.

STEP 3
Set up prizes - 1 grand prize winner of a $250 Spafinder gift certificate and a weekly winner of a case of Cheribundi.

Results

In the time span of 1 month with minimal budget, the contest gained 2.1k entries, 296 post shares, 5.4k visits to the Cheribundi Facebook page, over 1k post likes, and over 50 post comments.That is 2.1k emails added to the Cheribundi database and 94,084 people reached.
