A new set of tools will allow Twitter Ads Manager users to pick and choose the campaigns & metrics that they’d like to report on. New custom filters and custom metrics will be rolling out over the coming months allowing advertisers more flexibility to see and report on specific details within their Twitter ad accounts.

A large majority of sports teams have adopted beacon technology. This is causing some teams to see more than 40 times more incremental revenue than usual. Many sport franchises are using the technology for push notifications, which allow fans the opportunity to purchase better seats. Beacon technology has grown exponentially over the past year. In Q2 2015, approximately 800,000 beacons were deployed. It is expected by 2020 that over 400 million beacons will be launched.

40% of online users report being subjected to some form of harassment online, according to the Pew Research Center. In an effort to combat trolls, Instagram is launching several tools that will protect users. They will have the ability to filter their own streams and even turn them completely off.
Snapchat Branded Geofilters Get A Boost From Startup Yext
Snapchat has partnered up with Yext to make it easier for advertisers to make branded geofilters ads. Geofilters are “a type of graphical overlay people can use to decorate photos or videos they’re sharing”, but before it was somewhat of a long process for advertisers to do this, but now it will just be able to be done within a few clicks. Companies like Chipotle, Wendy’s and even Major League Baseball have their own graphical geofilters when you’re within their location that we see all the time.
